Dance Video =]

I am sharing this video because I really enjoyed watching it.  The dancer it features had very good commentary.  I really liked hearing her perspective on dance.  I liked the video and I am very impressed with it.  The dancer inspired me to always do my personal best and to always strive for more.

I really enjoyed reading your blog.  You have very good information! I love to dance, too!!!! I have been dancing for eleven years! I love competing and I have been for eight years! What types of dance do you do? It seems like you are a very active person just like me! We like all the same things too: texting, dancing, and candy!

I really like the format of your blog! The pink font against the black background makes your blog look classy and readable but also fun. Your posts are all very well written and really interesting. I like how at the top of your page you have a quote.  It shows what you live your life by, and I like that.

Check out the blog I viewed!

Dancer’s Blog Reviewed

I viewed the blog of a dancer named Lindsay Dreyer. Her blog was about her life in dance, which is about the same topic as my blog. “She began her dance training studying tap, jazz, ballet, and modern in Plantation, Florida under the artistic direction of Meg Segreto. A member of Segreto’s Perpetual Motion Dance Company, she performed at various community events and attended innumerable conventions and competitions.” (written by the author of Dreyer’s biography) She now lives in New York and has been dancing for 16 years. The title of her blog is Lindsay Live. She is also the editor of a dance magazine. Most of her information in her blog is about her life so far. The information in the blog was very easy to read.

The layout of this blog was very organized. It had some color, but not an overpowering amount. All of the information her blog contained had a title to indicate what the section is about. I really liked the layout of her blog. The overall look of the blog was great.

I really liked her links. All of them were related to her topic of dance. One of her links was even about a petition to President Obama requesting a Secretary of the Arts. Her “Most Read Blogs”, “Recent Blogs”, and “Most Discussed” were all about the art of dance. One suggestion I have for Lindsay’s blog would be to add more about dance in general. However, overall I really enjoyed reading and viewing her blog. It is very well written and organized.

Woldwide Dance

Finding places to learn about dance is easy.  Dance is everywhere!  Wherever there is music, there is dance.  Whether it is physical dance or just dancing in your heart and head.

You can learn the most about dance by physically taking a dance class.  By taking a class you can do the body movements.  Throughout the class the instructor will use vocabulary and explain many different actions your body can perform.  Also, you can research forms of dance using the internet.  You can read books written by dancers or about dancers, too.  You can even go view a dance show or performance.

All of these different forms of learning will help you grow in your own knowledge of dance.  No matter what, you should always remember that everyone is a good dancer.  Trying and persevering can only do you good.

All About Me! =]

Hi! My name is Grace and my blog is about dance.  Dance is my favorite sport.  I began dance classes at age three and I continue dancing today.  I live in the Midwest and I hate cold weather.  I want to go to college somewhere in the Southwest because it is not cold there!  I love to hang out with friends and family.  I also love to play soccer and volleyball.  I play soccer for a traveling team in the town I live in.

You should read my blog because it is different from any other blog about dance.  I will show my opinions about dance and whether or not it should be considered a sport.  I will include websites of professional dance companies and videos of people dancing.  I will tell about the different types and styles of dance that are performed today.
